mcLogiora Configuration

Configure languages, URL prefixes, switcher presentation, and review defaults.

Configuration is deliberately explicit. Choose the site default language first, then add active languages and decide how their URLs and switcher should appear.

  1. Set the default language.
  2. Add active languages and confirm their locale, BCP 47 tag, direction, and display order.
  3. Choose language-directory behavior for non-default languages.
  4. Configure the switcher surface: shortcode, block, widget, or template tag.
  5. Save permalinks and test one existing URL before creating translations.

Do not treat flags as language detection

Flags are off by default because a language is not a country. mcLogiora does not guess a visitor’s language from location and does not redirect visitors automatically.

Provider suggestions are a separate screen and are not needed for manual translation. Leave them disabled unless the site owner has reviewed the provider, credential storage, data path, and billing implications.
