Short answers to common mcLogiora installation, translation, provider, and release questions.
Is mcLogiora a hosted service?
No. It is a WordPress plugin that runs on the site. Optional provider requests go directly from the site through WordPress AI Client or to the separately configured DeepL service.
Is mcLogiora on WordPress.org?
Yes. mcLogiora is published on WordPress.org. The current release is 1.0.4.
Does it translate automatically?
No. Manual translation is the baseline. Optional suggestions are requested one field at a time and require a person to review and apply the preview.
Does it publish translated posts?
No. Translation actions do not automatically publish content.
Does it duplicate media files?
No. The attachment file is shared; translated metadata is stored per language.
Does it rewrite theme or plugin source files?
No. String scanning is on request and stores translations as site data.
Does mcLogiora require AI?
No. Manual translation, language management, Translation Manager, URLs, and diagnostics work without AI or an external provider. AI suggestions are optional and require WordPress's compatible AI Client/Connectors infrastructure.
How is DeepL different?
DeepL is a separately configured dedicated translation service where supported. It is not routed through WordPress AI Client and does not use a model selector.
