Dashboard

Use the Dashboard tab to read savings, format counts, feature status, and recent activity.

The Dashboard is the landing view inside Media -> Vacuum Image Optimizer. It summarizes optimization health without requiring a report export.

What it shows

  • Optimized image counts.
  • Generated WebP and AVIF counts.
  • Total storage savings.
  • Skipped and failed item indicators.
  • Last optimization activity.
  • Feature status for major plugin capabilities.

How to use it

Use the Dashboard after a bulk run to confirm that the queue actually produced derivatives or source savings. If optimized counts are low, open Bulk Optimize for job details and System Status for engine capability checks.

Reading the numbers

Savings are based on attachment metadata recorded during optimization. Existing files may refresh metadata without changing bytes, and skipped files are counted separately so the totals do not imply failure.
