Quick Start
Run a safe first optimization pass with backups, System Status, and the bulk queue.
This quick start keeps the first optimization run conservative and reversible.
First run checklist
- Open Media -> Vacuum Image Optimizer.
- Review the Dashboard for feature status and recent activity.
- Open System Status and confirm uploads and backups are writable.
- Complete the Setup Wizard, or skip it if you prefer manual settings.
- Open Compression and keep the Balanced profile.
- Keep Safe Mode and backups enabled.
- Open Bulk Optimize and scan the library.
- Start the queue and let the first batch complete.
- Review skipped, failed, and optimized counters.
- Open Reports to confirm storage savings.

Validate the result
Check a few attachments in Media Library list view. The Vacuum column should show status, generated formats, savings, and available actions. If something looks wrong, use Backup & Restore before changing settings aggressively.
